Email Address Theft: Safety Tips

Name a company and there’s a fair chance its data was stolen from a third party email vendor in a massive theft reported over the weekend: Citi, Chase, Hilton, Target, Best Buy, Disney. The list goes on.

And now you have to be on the alert for what promises to be a massive amount of phishing attempts.

Given that someone with less-than-pure motives has your name and email, they’re going to try to convince you to give up more details about yourself. And they’re going to be tricky.

So watch out.
